>SAFE and outta the BASEMENT!!<br />We are hearing more and more about this poor dog. Apparently he was not well taken care from the original owners and of course, this new owner wasn&#39;t any better. The original owners got him basically as a stray at a few months old ,because a lady that had him as a puppy did not want to deal with him so she abandoned him. They had three other dogs that he got along with very well. From our understanding, he was beaten by one of the boys. He likes women and is afraid of men. He was also in a fire that singed/burned most of his hair, but it grew back nicely. He is going to need a lot of TLC and help trusting men again. He did good on the truck ride to the vet. Seemed very relaxed and happy. I think he loved the fresh air. It was a chore to get him out of the truck at the vet, but once out he had the biggest smile - like he knows he is going to have a better life.</p>
