After 3 months, Sasha is STILL looking for her forever home. Sasha has a bit of a rough start to life, but is loving life in her foster home with her doggy foster siblings.  Sasha is a year old boxer with lots and lots of personality once she gets comfortable in her home and even more energy.   She is like the energizer bunny and keeps going and going until she crashes and is then ready to cuddle and watch TV.  Her favorite shows are dog shows and cartoons.  Sasha knows basic commands and is housetrained; crate trained and walks ok on a leash with the occasional excited spring loaded bounce.

Sasha does have quite a few fears, including entering doorways.  She will try to escape her harness or nonslip collar to avoid entering new doorways.  On several occasions she has had to be carried through the entry to make it through safely.  Once she is comfortable in her home entering is no longer an issue as she runs in the house to be in her safe place.  We have found that her doggy foster siblings have been her biggest teachers in helping her with many of her fears. She is not comfortable with chaos or loud children so a home with children will not be considered.

Sasha is a very high energy dog that will do well in a home where she can get lots of mental and physical exercise.  She would be an excellent agility dog or would also do well with other high energy/mental focused training. She will be happiest with other dogs to play with and to continue to show her the world is not as scary as it seems.
