Emily is free from her life as a puppy mill momma and we can't wait to find her the perfect home! She is a Golden Retriever, born in 2020. She is learning to trust humans and not fear a hand that pets her. She is just beginning to trust us and is receptive to human attention and beginning to enjoy affection. We feel she will absolutely need a home with another dog to help show her how to be a dog and assist her in the journey of life outside of a barn. She will need an adopter who is patient with her and willing to take the time to allow her to trust you. With love and patience we have no doubt she will be the best girl! She is working on potty training and leash training, this may need to be continued into the adoptive home. She is beginning to enjoy occasionally belly rubs and learning what toys are, as she has never seen one before. At this point, children and cats are questionable. This new life is very unknown to her and we are working diligently to help her learn all the new joys this life has to offer.
