Meet Annabelle!

She is the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet! Annabelle is a 13 week old Golden Retriever, weighing in at 24lbs. Annabelle had a slow start to life. For 12 weeks, she lived in a dark barn with her mom, Emily where she was confined in a stall with very minimal to no human interaction. Along with that, she suffered from entropion. This is a condition that can be very painful in which her eyelids roll inward, causing the eyelashes to rub against her cornea. Thankfully, once into rescue, she was able to undergo surgery that corrected this for her. Since in foster care, Annabelle is slowly coming out of her shell. She is currently being fostered with three other dogs and absolutely loves them! Annabelle would do best with another dog in the home as she depends on them to feel more confident around humans. She absolutely loves to play with her foster friends! Annabelle requires someone who is patient and willing to move slow with her as she continues to adjust to this new lifestyle. A basket full of stuffed toys is also a must as those are her favorite to carry around! Annabelle is crate trained and is working diligently on house training. She walks well on a leash and is always up for a long walk, play time or just laying outside soaking up the sunshine. She is up to date on all vaccines, spayed and microchipped.
