This handsome fella is Bastian. His owner was homeless and going into the hospital. Bastian lived in this outdoor kennel with a beagle buddy. We networked the beagles and thankfully, Nittany Beagle agreed to take them in. So Bastian was left all alone. We were contacted saying he had stopped eating and could not bear the thought of him being all alone. So Liz went and picked him up. At first, he acted like he wanted to eat everyone. I won't even lie... even Josh… which is the first. With each day his behavior changed. He has gradually become a happy boy. Now that he knows he is safe, this sweet boy just leans into you. He loves snuggles and deserves to be spoiled rotten for the rest of his life. He is good with most dogs and really likes a companion. We are going to say no cats because he loves to chase squirrels and other little critters. Bastian just turned 4 and is ready to go home for the holidays.
