•Harrisburg• Blitzen is shy around people but absolutely loves playing with other cats. He is a typical kitten and is full of energy. Blitzen comes to interact with his foster mom when she is laying on the floor, brushing or playing with other cats. He definitely has learned to trust by watching other cats getting love and attention. He also likes sleeping between his foster mom and brother at night. He will smoosh himself right between them until someone gives him space to slide into his spot. He is more comfortable with people who aren’t standing or crouching over him. If you move too fast he will dart away but will continue watch from a distance. Once you get out the laser or string toy, he is your best friend. His all time favorite thing to do is carry toy mice around by the tail until he can get the tails ripped off. Blitzen will need time to adapt to a new environment and new people. As with most timid cats, playing with him and giving him treats will speed up the process. He does allow you to brush him, especially if he gets something yummy afterwards. Blitzen must have at least one other friendly cat to bond and play/run through the house with. He loves the other boy cats and tolerates the snooty girl cats that live in his current home. He has not come in contact with a dog but he would likely get along well with any animal in time. He is quite friendly to others with four legs. Blitzen would like a quiet home without a lot of commotion or young children.
