Macy came to ODAAT after a good Samaritan noticed her around Thanksgiving as an injured stray. Once she was trapped it was evident that she had an old significant rear right leg injury that would need to be amputated. Her leg had actually been stripped down to the bone and she was dragging it behind her. At no point were her spirits dampened. She has been a sweet kitty ever since she came to ODAAT and continues to be. She has now fully recovered from her surgery and her activity level is increasing day by day as her confidence increases. She is extremely loveable and gives lots of kitty kisses. Her favorite things are cuddles, being pet, and anything with catnip on it. She does great using the scratching post and loves to be carried around the house! Macy prefers blankets to lay on over cat beds and has done wonderful with the other cats and large dogs in the home. She will be extremely thankful if you can itch the ride side her neck and face when needed though She is spayed, vaccinated, tested, microchipped, flea/tick treated and litter box trained.
