Benny came to us a stray and unfortunately we were not able to locate an owner nor did an owner come forward. He has quite the personality and is a very active little boy! He would enjoy a fenced in back yard to expend his energy in or an adopter committed to taking him for long walks. He will need to be secured when outdoors, either by a physical fence or leash at all times. He has been introduced to and did well with a younger submissive female dog larger than him and a submissive male dog a just a tad bigger than him, he did well with both of them. He did try to mount the female dog a few times but was easily redirected. This behavior may cease over time considering he was recently neutered but should be noted for dog introductions. He also gave appropriate corrections to the other dog if she invaded his space too much. An appropriate meet and greet/introduction to other dogs is needed for Benny moving forward. He has great leash manners and loves taking walks on the local nature trail. He also does well in the car while traveling but should be secured during travel and when opening the door at your destination. Benny loves to greet people and doesn't mind being picked up and held. He loves to roll around in his bedding and has been doing well in his crate when its covered with a blanket. He is not a fan of being placed in his crate but will go in on his own and lay down with the door staying open.
