Nova aka "Nova Jane" is the sweetest little pup with a little bit of feisty tied in. She is still learning appropriate puppy play. She plays well with her furry foster sibling but after playing awhile she tends to get mouthy and needs redirection. Be prepared to remind her of that because she easily forgets. She’s easily distracted but very trainable. She is treat motivated so keep those yummy treats on hand for training! Remember....she is just a puppy!! She plays perfectly with her human foster brother. Seems to love kids and doesn’t mind getting all the attention. Nova started potty training using a bell hanging from the door knob. She’s doing pretty good with that but she doesn’t always get the steps in the right order either. She’s working really hard though and will surely have it figured out in no time. She loves toys and playtime...she has that part down!! Loves all toys from balls, bones, kongs whatever! She would truly benefit from a fenced in yard so she can run out her energy however if there is no fence, she will need some intense boundary training. She knows her name and comes running when she hears it. She’s always up for laying in the yard belly up or chewing on a stick. Nova has not been cat tested at this time. A dog sibling would be great for her as far as learning and a tag along but should be tolerant of her type of play. She loves any and all attention so she just crawls up in your lap before the other dog gets there. Nova has been very inviting to all the new people she meets! She loves giving kisses and snuggling. She will run and run until she’s out of steam and then curl up with you on the couch for a snooze.....snore and all! She is doing great with crate training also!
