Meet this handsome devil, Max. He is a true sweetheart and a ladies man. Max is a four year old, 41 pound Australian Shepard/Collie mix and will be such a perfect addition to most any family. Max should probably be in a family with slightly older kids but only because he doesn’t realize his strength and could easily knock them over. He absolutely loves when the young neighbor kids come out and whines to play with them. Max thinks he is a lap dog and is up for snuggling all the time and loves to sleep in bed with you. He gives the cutest little nose nudges when you haven’t pet him enough. He is an energetic pup and loves to run around the yard, play catch, tug of war and play with his toys. He loves car rides and walks and is working on leash manners. Max doesn’t bark much at all but when he does he can sound a little intimidating! But he loves everyone and everything. He is virtually non-reactive to both dogs and cats although if the cats in the house run from him he will chase. Max is really good and well behaved. He doesn’t beg for food and when you give him a treat he takes it super gently. Max does come with 1 little quirk....he is a bit obsessed with shadows and light reflections.
