Kinley has begun settling into her new foster home and we are learning a lot about her!! First and foremost, she LOVES people!!! There isn’t a soul she has met that she doesn’t like. She thoroughly enjoys being loved on by her people and getting belly rubs. She is overly eager to snuggle and when laying with you will sometimes “mouth” for more snuggles, which her foster momma is working on her with. We are suggesting kids over 5 while she continues to work on being gentle. When outside she is a very energetic and playful dog and needs room to run with a good daily sprint session. In her prior life she was used to roaming so we are suggesting a home with a fenced in yard for her. She would be a great running partner, with the exception of the occasional stop and sniff lol. Shes also great at entertaining herself with toys and likes to toss/fetch them. Her favorite toys are ones she can fetch and ones that squeak . She is crate trained and enjoys laying in her crate, which is a great trait and should be continued as a safe place in her future home. Her favorite spot to sleep is anywhere on the floor lol. Kinley will tolerate but does not love taking baths, the vacuum cleaner, and taking medicine (but us humans don’t either, right?!) She has shown us she does not care for other dogs, especially when they bark at her, therefore we are looking for an only pet home for her and somewhere that doesn’t have pet visitors, and also why a fenced yard would be best. Dog parks and dog social atmospheres are not going to work for this girl. She doesn’t seem too mischievous in the home as far as getting into garbage or chewing on stuff, but she does have quite a sniffer and it makes her curious.
