Cadie is a female border collie mix who very much likes the presence of her people. She does not like to be left alone much and will cry when her people leave the room. She has recently started exploring the house more and is starting to come out of her shell. She is being fostered with cats and will sniff them when she approaches them but does not bother or chase them. She loves being outdoors in the nice spring weather! Cadie is very gentle with the boy in her home and gives him lots of kisses. She is a typical puppy in the chewing stage but is redirectable. Her personality is still coming out so we will continue to update as things change. Applications are available through our website www.onedogatatime.us I just weighed Cadie, she is 14.6 lbs. She is now trying to play with the cats, chasing them. She will need either an active family who will run off her energy or another playful dog in the family. She is now sleeping in her crate all night without fuss and is doing better at potty training. She will sometimes go to the door when she needs to go out but you need to take her out immediately or there will be an accident. As long as we take her out regularly, she does really good. Still working on leash training, she likes to get the leash in her mouth and walk herself. She also gets excited and jumps at you when walking or just plops down when she wants to. We are working on those things in our walks around the house. She is very playful and loves toys.
