Henry – A four month old Aussie/Heeler mix that is loveable and very full of energy. This little boy is smart as a whip! He is crate trained and has never had an accident in his crate! He does get SO excited when he meets new people and they talk to him, that he will tinkle a little bit but we are working hard on that. Once let out of his crate he runs to the door and sits to have his leash put on to go outside. He is learning how to ring bells on the door to go outside to go potty too!!  If he has to go potty quick after playing and his foster momma misses the cue, he will run straight to a potty pad.

He is good with walking on a loose leash. He loves to play with the other foster pups and has allowed other pups to take toys and treats out of his mouth while playing.  We did have a guarding incident with a bone in his crate one time but his foster mom and been on guarding and he is doing well with no issues since. He will drink and even eat with the other pups. He shares his toys and has even shared a large knuckle bone with no issues. They have all played in his crate together so this was a one-time incident.

He sits for treats and is very gentle when taking them.  

Henry has herding traits typical of his breed. When he sees the chickens out back of his foster home he gets excited and will lay down and observe as if he were getting ready to herd them. 

His foster momma has been playing with him on old hay bales where he gets up on them and runs along them. He would be great for agility. We are learning to play fetch, but he gets bored. He is very energetic and we suggest a home committed to keeping him physically and mentally stimulated. We are looking for an experienced breed adopter for Henry.
