Earney is a young coonhound/lab mix looking for his forever home. He was rehomed multiple times, the last time due to him not being house trained. We are happy to report that with some devoted training and stability he is doing FANTASTIC with house training!!! Earney absolutely ❤'s kids however we would suggest kids 5 and over due to him being in the typical puppy stages of playing a little rough. He would enjoy another medium-large playful dog in the home. He is vocal when he plays so that needs to be considered when pairing him with other dogs. Earney will bark when outside if he hears or sees things that are not familiar to him....after all, he is a hound. Crate training is going well although he does not like it. It creates some anxiety for him so we are working through that. Our vet believes he was possibly taken from his mom too early or left alone for very long periods of time in any of his prior homes. A home where his family is not gone for long periods of time would be ideal at this point. Earney truly is a loveable puppy and will snuggle on the couch with you like its his job.
