One of our adopters found this handsome fella laying in a ditch. She was able to locate his owner and they were willing to give him up to find a indoor home. He has been chained for 5 years. Please give Maison a chance at the love and compassion he deserves.
Maison is a approximately 5 year old Lab (mix) that is great with other dogs, farm animals, and kids! We are not sure about cats but don't think he would have a problem. He loves walks, okay on leash, harness is best as he does pull slightly, but not terrible. He has no food aggressive at all, okay with crate, a bit whiney and barks at first, but settles down... but doubt he needs one. He was left out in the house all day and was a perfect boy.. No messes! He does not get into things or chew. He is a very good house guest! He has been good with strangers he has met... no aggression... just interest. He is good with car rides. We doubt he has ever had a toy, he is unsure what they are. He prefers the floor over any type of bed . Even in the crate he pulls the bed up and lays on the hard surface. He is good with baths, was fine with fireworks being set off on the 4th of July. He barked at first then laid down and slept through them. He really truly is a great dog!
