River is sweet but full of spunk. She is one that will require exercise for sure. When she gets up in the morning, she is so excited and acts like she hasn't seen you for days. Her little tail will just wag and wag and she acts like she is on springs trying to jump up your leg. We are working on teaching her not to jump up on you. She will follow you around and stick close to you. She is the mischievous one in the house. She has no fear of the other dogs. She loves to roll around and play with our adult dog, Sam. She also loves to chase our mastiff around because she knows she is afraid of her. So she teases and chases her more. She has a dominant personalities when is comes to the other dogs and zero fear. She likes to snuggle but only for a short time. She likes to be down and moving. She will require you to keep after her because she likes to get into everything she is not supposed to and eat things that she shouldn't. She isn't worried about food too much. She will eat her food, but she isnt in a hurry to do it, and usually doesn't finish it. She likes to cry if you leave her and she can be pretty persistent about it. We are working on walking on a leash and sitting. She is doing very good with both of them. She doesn't tell you yet when she needs to go out. So we just make sure we take her out for potty breaks and praise her when she goes. If our kiddos are running, she will chase them as she thinks it a game. She does nip at fingers some, so you will need to continue to correct this as we are. She loves to play with the dog rope, tennis balls, and a cloth bone.
