Jude is a young bulldog mix that came to ODAAT after he was found laying under the sign of a local business unable to walk. Further tests revealed his back leg was broke just above the knee. He underwent surgery where 4 rods were placed and is currently still on post op restrictions but has a great prognosis and is doing wonderful! He is currently being fostered in the Hershey PA area. He has been working on house training and basic commands and is doing great with both. He is a strong willed little boy so his new family will need to continue with training. He is crate trained and leash trained. His favorite things to do are sniff things out (he doesn't hesitate to put his nose wherever he wants to) and chew bones while laying on your legs. He will trot over and present his toy to you as if you should be so proud of him for doing so. He has been introduced to one of his male foster brothers and is doing well. He is working on appropriate play manners with other dogs. You can tell he was a puppy that never got the chance to be a puppy. He does seem to be overly interested in birds and things blowing around in the wind so a fence or leash would be best for him. His initial reaction to sounds and people is to bark but he is very friendly upon greeting anyone. Jude also likes to throw around his big blocky head so, fair warning: watch your chin and nose!
