REESE is FREE to be Adopted!!
This sweet girl affectionately named, Reese's or Reese for short, was found in Morrisdale, Clearfield County PA. This poor girl weighed a mere 34 pounds when she got to the vets office. She is probably at least 15 lbs underweight. She was anemic and literally had no feces for a fecal to check for worms. Nothing else was medically wrong with her... she was just basically being STARVED. When she came in she required 5 small feedings a day to allow her to gain weight and give her body a chance to accept food again. The night she came in she PSP did not want to take her to the shelter... she was in pretty bad shape and required medical attention asap. We could have said no to the State Police... but where would she be right now? She has been held as "evidence" for montsh and has FINALLY been voluntarily surrendered to ODAAT!!
This is still an active investigation and charges are pending.
She is GREAT with people and LOVES belly rubs. She has been good in the home with the resident cat, but needs extremely slow introduction to dogs. She is good on leash and completely housebroken. She will come to you when she has to potty. She is a good girl. A complete lovebug. Dhe does not require crating, just basically lounges during the day when no one is home. We would like to see her in a home where she can be given as much love and attention that she deserves. Please share and help us find her forever family.
