Max was found stray scratching on a families door. Thru a post on Find Toby in PA, we were able to learn his owner was elderly and could no longer care for him. His name was Fat Boy... but we changed it based on his adorable personality. Max is almost 11 months old. He is said to be a pug mix. He is good with dogs and kids. He is a little timid when first meeting you, but becomes your best buddy within moments. He would probably be inquisitive with cats... but we do not think he would attack them. His favorite things are squeeky toys and belly rubs!~ He will lay in your arms belly up and snuggle all day. We feel he would need another dog in the home to keep him happy. He is an ESCAPE artist! He will require a fenced in yard. Would prefer that the door would open into the fenced in area. If he sees you going to the door... he prepares himself for the escape. ;) At night, he sleeps under the covers in bed... so that is a must for adopters home.
