A for sale post went up on Facebook about a 6 month old female german shorthair pointer that the owner intended on auctioning off along with her belongings to the highest bidder. Some of the things said in the post were very disturbing and we felt that this girl needed help. The owner was willing to sell her... but not willing to surrender for free. We do not pay for dogs. We cannot afford to pay for dogs... but this post was concerning enough that we felt we had to do something. A plea was posted for someone, anyone to help her. Numerous people stepped up and said they would donate towards the seller's fee if we were able to help.  
Sooooo within hours of our plea going up, Gretta was SAFE Greta!! Priceless!
