Shy came into rescue when his owner went into the hospital and then a nursing home. He was left in the apartment for over a month prior to coming into rescue. Shy is approximately 16 lb of sweetness! He cuddles, loves to give hugs and kisses. He is very much a people pup and loves to be loved. Shy loves children, however he would do better in a home with either older children or and a grandparent type setting. He does very well on the leash. He loves to take walks and play with toys. He loves to play fetch. Shy does have somewhat of a dominant personality, so it would best suit him and his forever home to be the only dog. Shy will certainly be the best companion for someone. He truly is one of the sweetest dogs ever! He has some quirks from being abandoned. These are all workable issues. We prefer he goes into a home that is not extremely busy.
