Gertie is ready to find a family all her own!
Poor Gertrude, or Gertie as we like to call her, was found on the streets with her puppy in near heat exhaustion. After lots of AC and love, they bounced right back. Lulu, the puppy was adopted, but Gertie is still looking for furever home. She is estimated to be 3 years old. She is a true love bug. She wants to be wherever her human is. She loves to be petted and loved up. She loves giving kisses. She is a gentle soul, ta king treats easily and playing with her lips covering her teeth. We believe that she may have had a few litters of puppies and is a tiny bit over weight. She just wants to be loved in a cool home where she won't have to have any more puppies. She is house trained and knows how to use a doggie door. She is great with other dogs, kids and we don't think she would have an issue with cats.
