Roxie became in stray from Mifflin County. She had face full of porcupine quills. The owner was found and the she was surrendered. Roxie was adopted and went missing... only to be found 3 days later in the woods, porcupined again and very ill. She came back to ODAAT and has been in foster since. We were unsure what her future would hold. She had a bad leg injury that thankfully healed. Roxie tolerates kids very well. She is extremely chill. A very relaxed, laid back girl , she would probably do best in a home where she was able to be the Queen. She will attach herself to you immediately. She lays her head against your leg when standing and wants petted. She is most happy just to lay beside you. She loves to ride in the car and honestly... just be with you. We would not suggest cats for Roxie, but she LOVES stuffed animals. She acts like they are her babies. The Perfect home we are looking for: Family who wants a companion. A dog that will be dedicated thru and thru. Family who has one other dog that is laid back and does not care if they play but is there for companionship. Family who will give her all the affection and attention she so deserves. Family that wants Roxie to be a part of their family. Her favorite place to be is on the sofa beside you... so if sofas are off limits... this girl is not for you.
