Chester, or Chetty, came to us from a very sad situation.  His owners wanted a cute little puppy, but as with many, as he grew, they started to forget about how cute and sweet he really is.  They crated him for most of the day and night.  He was only fed once a day.  He wasn't given any training.  He had no idea what a toy was or how to take treats.  He wasn't allowed on furniture.  This little guy came from that horrible situation and is now living in a foster home as a loved furbaby.  He is learning quickly to play.  He loves to wrestle around with his fur brother and sister.  He has learned that he is allowed on a couch and a bed.  He is still hesitant with taking treats from your hand, but will take them from the floor in front of him.  His potty training is going well.  He will used a peepad.  He loves to walk on a leash and absolutely loves to be outside.  He is great on car rides, but tries to sneak into your lap.  Chetty loves other dogs and kids.  I am unsure of cats since the foster mom is allergic.
