Her owner was ill and had to move in with relatives. The relatives were  overwhelmed and want he r placed.
Minnie will be 2 in February. She is a 10 pound, miniature pinscher/dachshund mix. 
She’s a sweet cuddle bug on a daily basis and enjoys chew toys and playing catch in the yard. She is house trained. She has moderate amount of energy and could use someone young with the time and patience to train her. She is good with other dogs,  cats and older considerate children.She loved to be around her owner, older gentleman, and is very loyal, but has shown to be protective, so we would not suggest small children. She does okay walking on her leash, but has been mostly left outside in the fenced in yard to potty.
